Otto x Villa Arnica

At the beginning of May, Vadim and Sören from Otto Berlin came to Villa Arnica for a special culinary event. They marked the beginning of the Poolhouse Grill season, which fills the garden of the Villa with sounds and aromas on Sunday evenings during the summer months.

The two chefs, who are already friends of the house, created their menu inspired by their Berlin roots, the fresh vegetables from the Arnica Acker, and South Tyrolean influences.They delighted guests with fennel with labneh and garlic, asparagus with oregano and wild herbs, veal, brook trout, potatoes with Brandenburg saffron, and a sorrel sorbet with spruce tips, followed by yogurt ice cream for dessert. The menu was complemented by a selection of South Tyrolean natural wines personally curated by Sören. Together with the chefs of Villa Arnica they served their innovative creations at the elegant garden tavolata, creating an evening full of flavor and community.

The day before, they also cooked at our partner hotel 1477 Reichhalter, serving an à la carte lunch and a variety of dishes for sharing in the evening.
