Arise Day Retreat with Yoga & Sound
Stefanie Dariz and Arianna Piazzi gently guided participants through a day of yoga and sound at this day retreat in our beautiful Villa Arnica. Combining diverse practices from yoga and sound healing, they aimed to relax the nervous system and foster a deep personal connection for each participant. Using body, voice, and the resonant vibrations of crystal sound bowls, they illustrated a balance between movement and stillness, sound and silence.
The day began with a Yin Yang Alchemy Flow in the glasshouse amidst the garden beds of our Arnica Acker, followed by a light lunch at the pool house. The afternoon featured a Smudge Stick Workshop, offering a space for creativity and community, overlooking the pool and surrounded by verdant vineyards. Concluding with Vocal Yoga and a sound bath, the retreat delivered a truly immersive experience of holistic relaxation and acoustic wonder.

The teachers
Arianna Piazzi is a Yoga Teacher and Health Coach, certified by the New York Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN). She combines yang yoga flows with traditional chinese medicine and yin spiritual practices like sound baths and cacao ceremonies. Her aim is to get you out of the busy daily life to rediscover joy, inspiration, creativity, lightness and pleasure, offering you an invitation to slow down and tune in to your senses.
Arianna Piazzi is a Yoga Teacher and Health Coach, certified by the New York Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN). Stefanie Dariz's yoga path began in 2001 in Maui, USA. Her six-month experience at Myra Lewin's yoga centre "Hale Pule" sparked her enthusiasm and sensitivity for yoga, which she has never let go since. After stints with different teachers, styles and practices, she trained with Dona Holleman - "Centered Yoga" in 2006. Since 2000 she has also been intensively perfectioning various massage techniques and specialises in holistic bodywork.
